DAVIDSON, N.C. —
Freshen up your fall wardrobe and help raise awareness and funds for women’s cancers at the same time.

290,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast and gynecologic cancers this year. 67,000 of those will lose their lives to those devastating diseases. Monkee’s of Lake Norman invites you to join their campaign to raise funds and awareness during the month of October. Shoppers will receive a pink ribbon on which they can write the name of a loved one or friend who has been affected.

Owner, Sandy Bowers, has been touched very deeply by cancer. She lost her own mother when she was only 12-years-old. Sandy, like so many of us, looks forward to the day when cancer no longer plays a grim role in women’s lives. Donations this month will benefit the Carolina’s Breast Cancer Fund and the Sonia Hanko Wyatt Ovarian Cancer Research Endowment through Carolina’s HealthCare Foundation.
